Pecan Branch Counseling is a boutique counseling practice, with the mission to help people live bold and authentic lives.
Pecan Branch Counseling is a boutique counseling practice that aims to help people live bold and authentic lives. To us, that is being unapologetic for who you are. It means showing up in a way that allows you to be you and own who you are. We have often been busy trying to be something for somebody else or hiding and running away from something we don't want to claim or others to see. We need to own our stuff, even the hard stuff, and own who we are. When we own our own story, nobody can hurt us with it.
As a practice, we are advocates, allies, and members of the LGBTQ community.
We value integrity and making our office a safe space for individuals moving through trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, or grief. We work to help couples heal communication, disconnection, affairs, and emotional injuries from the past. We specialize in working with first responders and their families, including healing after critical incidents.
As a group, we are assertive, direct, kind, and passionate. Yet, in bringing our own diversity and unique experiences, each of our therapists can connect differently and offer a broad range of therapy to serve uniquely YOU.
When you call us here at Pecan Branch, you don't have to define or explain who you are. When you call us, you are a person seeking some guidance. You need a partner to walk down this road with you, to help you get brave, to help you jump, to help you get to whatever goal you've set. And we pride ourselves on being that therapist for you.

It always makes it a little daunting to find a counselor. We believe that βfitβ and the relationship are essential to the therapeutic relationship. Feel free to peruse our clinicians and their bios. If you have an idea of a counselor when you connect with us, great! Regardless, our client care coordinator will chat with you, get an idea of who you are, your struggle, your goals, and financial limitations, and let you know the best fit in her eyes.

We offer both! Many people like to come into our office and sit, relax on our couches, and have an hour away from their house and other people. Telehealth can be super convenient if you are in a different part of the state or need to have a session during your workday. And yes, couples therapy can be done over telehealth!

Fees are based on the clinical experience of your clinician and range from $75 - $150 per session.

Some. There are plans in programs that some of our clinicians are in network with. Others are not. We usually work with BCBS, Optum/United, and Aetna plans. If you are out of network with us, we are happy to bill your insurance company for you to be reimbursed. You can also access your HSA benefits. Many insurance plans require deductibles to be met before reimbursement. Check your benefits to understand what will be required out of pocket.
